Editorial Policy

Flag Football Analytics publishes original analysis, strategy articles, rankings, and historical simulations for flag football readers. The site is operated by Illumined Analytics and written by Dr. Stephen Hill unless a page states otherwise.

Data sources and methods

Rankings and data stories identify whether a number comes from repository data, a visible model output, a rules source, or an illustrative coaching scenario. The ratings pipeline reads scheduled and completed game data, applies documented filters, and publishes static JSON for transparency.

Corrections

If a score, school name, rule reference, or calculation appears wrong, email stephen@illumined.io. Substantive corrections are made in the page text and reflected with an updated date.

Uncertainty

Predictions are estimates, not guarantees. Early-season rankings, playoff simulations, and matchup probabilities are especially sensitive to missing scores, provisional teams, and small samples.

Advertising and independence

Advertising, analytics, or affiliate considerations do not determine rankings or conclusions. Ads are kept separate from core tools and article text, and pages disclose Google advertising cookies in the privacy policy.
